The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing operational processes and supervising employees in the Philippines, including maintaining training materials, onboarding staff on new and existing procedures, and ensuring efficient daily workload distribution. 

What you'll do:

  • Serving as the central point of contact for Head Office and Corporate functions with respect to all matters relating to the office and to support the local team for the day-to-day management of the office. 
  • Management of written training procedures/manuals for the entire team (Claims, Finance, and Underwriting Operations) 
  • Training of procedures or new procedures to new and existing staff members 
  • Establish methodology for monitoring daily workload to assist in balanced assignments of new claims 
  • Ensure all general email and phone inquiries are responded to within one business day 
  • Establish productivity measurements for daily performance and monitor accordingly 
  • Assess job performance following established performance and productivity measures. Take corrective action with individuals as needed 
  • Conduct weekly group meetings to include conveyances of information to team members as well as reporting meeting feedback to department management 

What we're looking for:

The candidate should possess basic business terminology, be customer service oriented, demonstrate the ability to share knowledge and work effectively in a team environment. 

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management skills. Ability to interact with all levels of company staff including management. Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. 

Other requirement: 

  • A degree or certificate in any related business field is a plus 
  • Microsoft Office working knowledge is a plus. 
  • Previous supervisory experience, 3-5 years 
  • Knowledge of the insurance a/or logistic fields is a plus 
  • Willing to work in a shifting schedule from time to time
