1. Market Research & Intelligence
- Conduct in-depth market research to track and analyze trends, forecasts, and developments across commercial real estate sectors: office, retail, industrial/logistics, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use.
- Monitor macroeconomic indicators, demographic data, infrastructure developments, and policy changes that impact the real estate market.
- Identify market gaps and emerging opportunities to guide internal strategy and external client advisory.
2. Client-Facing Advisory & Strategic Support
- Lead client-facing research engagements including market feasibility studies, highest and-best-use analysis, and location strategy reports.
- Present findings directly to clients, investors, and stakeholders in a clear, data-backed, and strategic manner.
- Translate data and trends into actionable recommendations that align with clients’ business goals and investment criteria.
- Support brokerage participating in client meetings, pitches, and presentations.
3. Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and mentor a team of research analysts, ensuring high quality, accuracy, and timeliness of outputs.
- Define team goals and KPIs, and oversee workload planning, training, and performance evaluations.
- Cultivate a collaborative, analytical, and proactive team culture.
4. Data Collection, Management & Analysis
- Oversee the acquisition and maintenance of proprietary databases and research tools.
- Develop data collection frameworks for compiling and verifying real estate metrics such as rental rates, vacancy rates, absorption, cap rates, and yields.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have at least 15 years of experience in a research-related position that covers real estate properties and developments
- With at least 5 years of leadership experience.
- Must possess a Degree in Economics, Statistics, and Applied Mathematics. (Those who graduated with related courses are very much welcome to apply.)
- With a master’s degree in economics, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics have an advantage
- Experience in research is preferred, especially with commercial real estate experience
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to process and analyze data; strong writing skills are required
